Quarterly Statement Generator

NodeJS, Knex, PDFkit, and Electron
The objective
The goal was to create an easily customizable statement generator. This generator would create four different colour-coded statements based on specific funds and contain all client information including a summary page and an individual breakdown of every investment made within a selected time period.
The solution
Using NodeJS I was able to create a user-friendly application that used the powerful JavaScript library Knex along with PDFKit to create a fully functional PDF generator. Knex would use a variety of SQL queries to gather specific information and PDFkit would use this information to produce invoices quickly and efficiently.
